View Full Version : Galil folding stock style adapter, what do you guys think?
I'm fairly certain I'll be going with an Arsenal Sgl 31-61 for my next purchase and am interested in having an adjustable length of pull and also a stock that folds to the left to decrease overall length when carried in a case or bag. What do you guys think of this product? http://www.onesourcetactical.com/tsdcombatsystemskalashnikovfoldingstock.aspx#.T24C3o4hrPA
Does anyone on here have experience with one or see and glaring flaws in the design etc?
Josh
No experience with this unit but I do like the machined in QD Sling Socket.
The folding mechanism has received great reviews at the manufacturers forum. I plan on purchasing one for a fixed stock AK soon. I believe it will serve you well.

On further inspection I think maybe this folds right not left, as I first thought although I could be wrong. It's a bit pricey but looks like it would lock up very solidly.
The MFG is planning left and right folders.
Currently they are selling them en-mass to One Source Tactical, though I know the MFG wants to sell directly at some point.

Would be great if that were to happen sooner than later. The only reason I can see to not go left folder is if you planned to use an optics mount on that side which I don't since I'll be running on either a ultimak front or a TWS dogleg.
