Hey man I was wondering if the same technique is used for the ak47 when recovering from recoil as is used with the m4 or at platforms chambered in 223.

Essentially the technique is the same when managing recoil. The differences are typically platform related and whether you can handle the weapon like an M4. Some weapons have gas ports and exposed steel gas blocks that prohibit many of the techniques that can be used with an M4.

The basic techniques of drawing the weapon into the shoulder with the support hand and the master hand still applies as does getting body weight over the top of the weapon to minimize fulcrum.

Hand placement becomes an issues due to the lack of rail interface as seen on the M4 with extended rails.
