Jason,

Can I get some clarification on what Im seeing in this picture you posted on your facebook in regards to the context of the situation and how the actors came to be in this position ?
Is the carbine assumed to be inoperable ?

This photo is taken from our Intro to Combatives module during out Advanced Combat Course.

The TTP's taught during our Combatives Program are for Military and Law Enforcement Only as most of the techniques and concepts have no application for the armed citizen. We offer an Introduction to Combatives on our OE courses that includes some extra techniques for the armed citizen. These techniques are designed to provide some useful training to those involved in carrying weapons on a daily basis and a little insight into the full program to generate interest in this subject.

Our full Mil/LE Combatives Program covers the employment the primary, secondary, auxiliary and the body as a weapon.

The RB1 Combatives Program that we will be offering later this year (Nov) is the most advanced combatives program available in the world today. Our Senior Instructor is currently engaged in teaching Special Operations Forces around the world including U.S Army Special Forces.

This photo shows the Immediate Action Drill when the primary weapon is negated to the support side.

Again some of these techniques have little to no application to most defensive shooters due to the equipment set up and the number of weapons carried.
