Hello everyone,
I saw a link to this place M4arc had posted and thought I'd come check it out.
See a lot of familiar names here.
The site looks GREAT.
I haven't been able to post ,much lately on any of the other sites, been busy with a new job I started this month. Actually have a job I'm proud to be a part of now.
I work for a subcontractor I guess you'd call it for a company named Force Protection out of South Carolina. We make Armored vehicles for the military.
If you want to check them out go over to http://www.forceprotection.net And click on the models. These are some big bad boys.
Nice to be apart of something that's helping save our soldiers lives.
Long hours, hot and dirty work but I love it.

Well see you guys around fromtime to time.
Probably be checking in when I get breaks from work.
I'm off today for Jury Duty.

Is the company still located in the old Charleston Naval yard ? They make some tough looking mine clear trucks. I saw some a few months ago in shipping.
Good luck

To the best of my knowledge yes.
I work in King Mountain NC we make all the body parts and weldments.
Basically all the heavy metal and welding, then ship 'em down to FP for assembly.
But We have a feeling some of that may change in the future but who knows.

Yeah , they're called the buffalo.
Big and bad *ss trucks. Will take some major damage and still protect the guys inside.
