Has anyone ever run into, or heard (from a reliable sourse) any legal issues with the 5.56 AR pistols?

Just don't make one out of a rifle...or a stripped lower with the paperwork done as a rifle.

I have not heard of anyone having problems. My latest build I bought a Spike's lower that is stamped and marked on the 4473 form as a pistol lower.
It's actually a 9mm pistol build until I send off my Form 1 to SBR it.
