Can we name all the names here? Should this be super secret? Because I think this question needs to be asked and answered.

Why, what difference does it make to you?

It has no bearing on any of the recent events.

All that matters is we have a great forum to discuss firearms, assessories, optics, and training.

If a few of the owners wish to remain behind the scenes thats thier business. In light of the recent fuss I do not blame them.

BYW- M4 has more than one owner.

I understand if a few want to be anonymous, but I think that trying to keep all of it a secret will just raise suspicions.

Hmm, well I don't get the anonymousity (if that's a word.) That's all.

LoL.

How about a trade of information. Tell us who hipfiredgun is, and what the connection is between "the armory" and Leitner Wise, and maybe you can learn who the owners are.

Now I remember why I was glad to exit ARFCOM

Call me crazy. I thought it was a fair question.

Look it up ;)

I'm not at liberty to announce it.

We can't look it up. When the domain name was registered, an anonymous proxy service was used. Of all the firearms sites, m4carbine.net is the very first I've encountered that went to such lengths to conceal its origins.

The use of a PROXY is VERY COMMON now days, and highly recommended. The new domain registration lists are the #1 favorite for spammers.

See my post in "tinfoil..." :D

Two words: "white list." :D Maybe it's because I've been working with the Internet since '93 or so, but I dislike any trend towards obscuring site ownership. It's enough to set up a separate email address to register under, and still include your legitimate name and physical address.

HFG, LW and Goatboy are the owners. :D

As many of you have seen the train wreck on ARFCOM, why would I put anyone through that (especially when they can never give their side of the story)?
