And I have a 10.5 bbl. Using Fed TRU with the Hi Shok boolit. Anyone aware of results using this round out of a short barrel?
Previously had 69 grain OTM ammo with was said to work well from SBR's.
Would stepping up to a 13.7 Noveske extend fragmentation range out to an acceptable level?
We have been using Winchester white box 5.56 mm 55 grain Q3131 in our duty rifles and carbines for several years... It has performed very well for us…
YMMV

It's as shallow as a promise from a Clinton or a Pledge of Allegiance from Hu-Bama.
Be sure to re-zero your weapon or you will be hitting high.
Like Buck's agency I'm using 55gr (Fed XM193) out of 14.5" and 16" barrels.
Our last (2) OIS were with 55gr Hornaday TAP, which performed as advertised. (16" and 18" barrels).
If you are going to go with a Noveske 13.7", I'm guessing that you are going to attach a KX3 to the end. I've already been that route with a 11.5" and KX3 and ditched the KX3 due to lenght and weight (the KX3 is a half pound). You may want to consider a 14.5" with long flash hider (to make the barrel 16" or go with a 16" barrel) and take advantage of the extra muzzle velocity.
You may want to contact DocGKR with the new round and barrel lenght you are using and see if he has any data.

Jeff
