The CLAW rear sight was designed to aid in one handed manipulations and it does just that. I've had it on my Glock 19 for a while and here's what I've found.

Pros:
-It really grabs onto hard surfaces to aid in one handed racking of the slide
-Standard heights for Glock (large and small frame), and M&P pistols
-Black nitrided finish for durability and hardness
-Cost. It's only $24 for the rear sight. Tough to beat that.

Cons:
-I'd like to see serrations on the rear of the sight but that would likely add cost. It's a trade off I suppose.

Here's a video with some shooting, close up shots of the sight on the gun, and my overall thoughts one the sight:

I guess the actual sight picture dosent matter, because well you know, science and stuff.

Edit:Finally a youtube gun review intro song that dosent sound like it was used for a 90's era VHS speed boat promo video. Guns and metal go togather like beer and beer.

I don't have any photos from the rear uploaded to a sharing site but they're in the video.

I see why they call it a claw!

I have found the Heinie sights work well for this too. Even with the beveling, the square cut on the front of the sight allows me to push the slide into my thigh and get more than enough purchase to easily rack it to the rear and hold it there, without any lacerations.

That said, these sights might work better for my Walther PPS, which requires considerably more force to rack vs. the Glock 17.

If your support hand was unable to rack the slide, how did it get better to insert a magazine? :D
