What are people doing to prevent the sharp edges on the rear sight from digging into your skin when carrying handgun? I don't always wear a undershirt. Why would they not dull the edge before selling them? I don't want to sand or file the edges since it would mar the finish. I did some searching but did not get a remedy. Thanks for any help!

A file and a little Sight Black.

You could put a small piece of black duct tape on there, or some kind of glue/liquid band-aid just a bead on the sharp part should round it out and last awhile.

Not understanding what you're experiencing?

Sharp edge on rear sight scraping skin when in owb holster.

I thought that might be it. I carry next to skin or a UA shirt, and don't experience it.

You could break the edge of the rear, and touch it up.

Be careful not to alter the symmetry of the rear. It can screw with your presentation a bit.

I haven't had an issue either. Out of curiosity, what kind of holster/position are you wearing it at?

The Trijicon HD sights have a rear angle and sharp edge that stick out more than other sights. Depending on your holster angle and body type they either jab you in the side or catch your shirt/arm. I may just replace mine with 10-8's which angle the other way and don't poke at me...

Great, more money to spend after thinking Trijicon would be gtg.

Variating position to test, I had zero issues with the hk45c, p30, but now the shield I am getting stabbed like crazy with this new holster, (OTGHex 0-cant MKi)

I am curious what the sharp angle is purposed for anyways.

I would SAND before file. Shouldn't take much. Work my way up from sandpaper.

They don't stick me, but I would address it if they did. Go for it and post pics

I carry IWB with a M-TAC, never had a issue yet. The "flap" protects you from any such issue. Both of my M-TAC's (1 for 9mm and .40 and the other for .45) are a older version but basically the same idea.

No issue here, with my P30 or my sk, at 12:30. I carry next to skin also.

My HD's on a G19 don't poke my skin by they do catch my arm/shirt when I brush up against them. HD's definitely have a sharp reverse angle on them for some reason and they are much more likely to cause problems than other sights.

It all depends on you gun/holster/body/carry position so everyone will be different.
