Everything finally arrived! The Dawson Super Heavy magwell, which fits very well and makes the gun, unloaded, feel almost loaded. Shooting this thing with a Glock 24C is going to be a breeze.

I also added a Lone Wolf Glock 17L thread barrel to my Glock 34. I thought it made the most since in case I do decide to ever run an open gun. Also, it will make a fabulous suppressor host, since I load my own ammo. You can make some virtually silent loads with a 6 inch barrel. I think it looks awesome, too.

And finally. I have named all three guns Odette (24), Katie (35), and Angela (34). I am making them custom bags (as seen behind the guns). I am just waiting for their name tapes to come. Each bag has a range log in it, its own basic multitool, a dowel and a barrel snake. It can hold the pistol and 6 mags.

Of course, I don't have a range report, because my surgeon says I have another month and a half before I can shoot, but I have already broken my fundamental rule; you are supposed to test your firearms after each modification. I have practically swapped out every part and not test fired. I hope everything work; if not, it is going to be unpleasant to troubleshoot. At least Glocks are simple!

Anyone else name their guns?

My SDS taught us to name our rifles; it makes the connection more intimate and personal. I still recommend it to my Soldiers.

Also have not named my Glocks. I like the looks of those modified handguns, would you mind going over the mods and maybe the reasons behind them?

A buddy of mine names his after strippers. His AR got named at my bachelor party. Don't ask me what the name was. Not much I remember about that night.

Never named a gun and likely never will. It sounds like you have too much time on your hands from being laid up. I know the feeling. Hope you heal soon and can get back to shooting. :)

Way too much free time lately--that's about as best I can put it.

The first gun with a stainless barrel is a Glock 34 with a threaded Glock 17L barrel. It has a web extended and lightened striker an 4 pound striker spring. She has Warren Seviegny sights with an FO front. She also has a lone wolf 3.5 connector. All internals have been polished and springs lightened except the trigger spring.

The Glock 24 is the same story, but it wears a Ghost connector with a jager extended striker. It also has an oem compensated barrel and also have a normal one barrel for it and dawson super heavy magwell.

The 35 is gen4 like the 34. It has a vanek custom trigger and jager striker. It has a dawson ice magwell. Also has warren seviegny sights like the others. Trigger pull on this on is about a pound. It is my limited gun.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I have a lot of aftermarket Glock parts to check out.
