Our department bought these for the issued patrol rifles. I think they got the X-15. I have one with the 30mm mount and tape switch I want to sell. A little too heavy for me.

Hellfighter lights are JUNK!
The first one I bought broke the first time I pushed the switch. Its replacement squeeks when the switch is pressed.
The machinging quality is pitiful - the threads feel like there is sand in them.
The O-rings are very low-grade.
The light is greenish and not very bright.
The included batteries were made in China (no mention of where the light was made).
Here is a closeup photo of the threads (complete with dirty factory grease).

Wow, thanks. That's the exact model I was interested in as well...the X8. You just saved me $65. Surefire it is.

I am glad I found this I kinda had to wonder About them as I was looking at their catalog last night. I was going to ask the same questions as have been asked here. I will not be wasting any money on them.
