LaRue Tactical gear.....some random thoughts

I used natural light in my photo (obviously), but used a fill flash to keep shadowing to a minimum.

Over the years I have used KAC (standard RAS and free floated), Daniel Defense, PRI, VTAC, Midwest Industries, LaRue and several others.

In late 03 and in early 04 I had a couple different rails come loose on me, and that is what prompted me to switch all of my rails over to LaRue rails.


Use products that you have confidence in and are best suited to your needs / personal preferences / mission statement / etc.

Hi my name is Sparky and, uh well, I am addicted to LaRue products...they do not control my life but I find myself thinking of what I can switch out on my carbine.

Seriously, I love just about everything they make.

On my carbine:

9" HG
LT-202 LP GB
LT-660
will have an Aimpoint 3x on LT twist mount later.

Sold optics with LT Leupold prismatic mount and Aimpoint M3 with LT-129.

There will be more to come...I can feel it! ;)

I have a few LaRue items as well.

On the SPR is a LaRue Tactical Stealth upper with an 18" ion-bond barrel and 13.2" quad rail.
She also has a LaRue SPR-E QD scope mount.

My carbine has more Magpul on it than anything, but it does sport an 11" LaRue quad rail.
This one also has an Aimpoint Comp M4s on a LaRue QD mount.
Soon, the 16" barrel will become a 12. ;)

I'm use Larue exclusively for quick release mounts, their product quality and customer service has always kept me coming back.

So far I've purchased -

Two padded slings
Aimpoint T-1 w/ M4 QD mount
Acog TA33G-H w/ LT105 QD mount
QD LT-104 mount w/ inserts for my Mark-AR
Harris Bipod BRM-S and LT706 QD Swivel Mount
Lots of other small misc parts

I've got so many bottle openers and seasoning that I'm set for life :D!

I have friends that give me crap about having their stuff at times, but oh well.....as long as I'm happy with their products I could give a damn less about anyone else's opinions :p
