Tango Down, LLC recently won the sole-source contract for the Navy Mk14 Mod 1 7.62mm weapon system. The contract award is for their ACB-4 bipods, rail panels, vertical grip and battle grip.
They received a NSN (1010-01-536-4707) on their BGV-MK46 vertical grip, and will be receiving NSNs on their BP- series rail panels as well. Their vertical grip has also been accepted by the USMC on its 40mm M32 Made by Milkor USA .
Tango Down is currently working with FN MFG, and will be producing the rail panels and vertical grip for the SCAR heavy and light variants. The SCAR rail panels will be a custom product, featuring their Pat-Pend pressure switch pocket design. They are also supplying HK Defense in an O.E.M. capacity for the 416, with BG-16 rifle grips, BP-4 rail panels, and BGV-MK 46 vertical grips.
