View Full Version : New Sig P556 Pics
Came across this today unexpectedly and the more that I handled it the more I had to have it. This is what you start to think you need when you are starting to lose your mind waiting on a LMT MRP....:o Not sure if I will keep it as a pistol carbine or go the SBR route. I am assuming that I can go SBR with it even though this was how it was built?!? If not it should be a great sling gun. Does anybody know much about them? It came with Sigs version of a red dot. Any way thought I would share some pics.

I got to play with one of these that someone else had bought. I thought that it was cool and would go good at my casa:D. But I did not have enough to buy one of my own:(

Saw one today at the Houston Gun Show for 1499. Was that a good price?

Nice gun. Let me guess, you're a Tom Clancy fan.

Thanks!!! I have always tried to avoid the SBR route but I might make the exception on this one. It is very well made and project worthy in my opinion.

It is $75 less than I paid for this one. But looking around it appears to be a good price. I kinda stumbled in blind on this one but I am glad I bought it.
As they say variety............:D

but i cant find them cheaper then 1600

Oh yeah. That gun and those Arsenal Krinkov's SCREAM SBR. I would be weird though, I would go with a fixed Sully or A1 stock.

How involved is the SBR paperwork, and how long will it take? If I remember it was similar to getting a can and cost a couple hundred bucks?!?!?!?
Does it erode any of your rights like when you become a FFL? I like your thoughts on the fixed stock idea I hadn't thought of that.

Thank you! That appears to be pretty close to the market right now. I have seen a high of $1800 and low was 1499 which someone mentioned above.
Can anybody recommend a sling for one of these pistol carbine? It has a front and rear mount.
