Well I need some input from anyone and everyone, especially those that have modified their A1 upper.
I currently have a red/green dot scope mounter atop my carry handle on my M4A1 Carbine. I had no idea before getting this one that their were other styles (i.e. A2 & A3 & flat tops. Anyway I really like this gun and upper but was wondering if any of you have cut or machined off the handle and installed a picatinny rail to attach optics to???
Yes I know about just buying another upper, a flat top or A3 and remove the handle when I want that kind of mount.....but has anyone cut or machined off the original and if so how did that go and are you happy with it??? If not why???
If so do you have pictures and would you post them.
