The XT07 came out some time ago and it featured a standard SF removeable tape switch. The new XT07 features their SR system. This system slides onto your rail and gives you momentary and constant on capability.

My screen isnt the greatest. Is the thing on the bottom of the photo like a rail cover with a built in switch?

Those switches are the heat!
I used one on my tan Troy BCM you designed for me. Bennie Cooley and Michael Voigt were putting on a class for SF here in Dallas and Bennie had one for demo.
He had the SR07 switch and let me borrow it for a couple of days. I mounted it on the top rail right in front of my Eotech and the M600 on the bottomw rail at 6:00 up front.
That switch worked like a charm left or right handed. It worked rather well on Bennie's left/right shoulder tansfer drill.
I have two on order through SF right now and can't wait until I have them!
I would highly recommend them. They are extremely well made.
Is this switch compatible with the other lights like the M951?

Yes the SR07 switch is compatible with any new plug in type Surefire tailcap like the XM tailcap for the classic and 951 series lights.
I don't know if Surefire makes a plug in only tailcap for any lights other than the M600 series.
I believe that all of the 951,961,classic series, etc use the XM tail caps or the "C" caps.
Ask Grant, he will probably know!

Yep! I need one of those to mount my X200 on my 11.5" SBR to replace it's heavy Larue Battlelight. I just need to figure out which side I would mount the X200 on. I would probably also loose the forward grip. I'm thinking of mounting it on the left side with the switch directly behind the light.

Ok, so that a 1913 rail compatable pad and it will work on a 200B? Thinking of getting one on a trade.

Yes, it slides onto the rail. The XT07 JUST started to come with the SR switch. So make sure your not getting an older XTo7 (which just came with a tape switch).

I always thought that would be a cool feature in a tape switch.

Your website shows you out of stock on the SR07 tape switches. Do you have an ETA on any more?

Really? I cannot find any SR07's listed on my website.
We do have them in stock though.
XT07's are out with no ETA.
