Can the X200B bezel lamp be purchased and installed in an X200A light? Now that I have a B, I know why the used A's were so cheap.;) That said, they may have a place on a carbine. Maybe.

No, they're all sealed. If it was possible, it would still be cheaper to sell the "A" and buy a "B".
While the "B" is better indoors, but the "A" is still usable indoors, and is better outdoors.
Actually, the Streamlight TLR-1's light output is better than either. It has a wider, brighter beam than the "B", and more throw and a bigger hotspot than the "A".
The TLR-1 switch isn't as versatile as the X200's, not to mention the DG and SL switch options.

I have the x200a model on my AR & sometimes find myself needing more light. I like it though, low and streamline. Does surefire have pressure pads yet? a six inch wire would be nice.
