This rig is our 6.5 Grendel offering for the three gun type competition that demands a major power factor, longer range accuracy or a tactical gun. It sits all up at 8lb and features a full 1" diameter 8 flute barrel from Satern Manufacturing, a 5 groove 5R 20" barrel with Flatland forge 3 port comp. The handguard is our new superlight G10 composite vented design (11 oz) which is ported to flow the heat haze away from the sight line. The chassis is our billet sniper design and the trigger is the tactical unit we make for heavy field use. The trigger is a single stage 5 lb unit with narrow bow for easy use with gloves or mitts. Finish on all the trigger internals is TDC (thin dense chrome).

SHOT will be the first outing for this gun beyond testing and we will also show the long range counterpart in camoflage base coat, together with our light rifle gillie (dark urban pattern).

I will be making the handguards in both midlength and extra long versions and will be talking to Grant about carrying these.

Also in the works is a lightweight 18" gun. I am not showing the set up yet but it tips the scales at jsut over 6 lb

Bill,
That looks pretty badass. I like the FF tube. I would like to get a 13.2" tube for my 3gun rifle in the future (maybe even longer). I'm running an older rifle length 12" JP tube with a middy 16" barrel right now.
