So I pre-orded a ZT 0350 and it has a s30v blade and I heard somewhere that you need a different sharpening system and I forgot what it was. I have 154 and 440 blades already but I don't know if I can use ceramic and stone on the s30. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I sharpen mine the same as all my other knives-
Diamond, Novaculite (Arkansas Stones), Ceramic, or Aluminum Oxide.

I don't find it particularly hard to sharpen with any method.

I use Smiths diamond Arkansas stones or Spyderco tri-angles. I think that whatever you use to sharpen your current knives will work fine. Its not going to be over RC 58-59 anyway.

Your present ceramic and Arkansas hones should work just fine. It will take them longer than the time it takes to sharpen a 440 blade, and about the same time as the 154CM blade.

Enjoy your Zero Tolerance, it's a nice knife.

What everyone else said. I use ceramic crock sticks to put the final edge on mine.

Indeed, the ceramics seem to work real well for me also. I have a Spyderco Sharpmaker, and it works well on a couple of CPM-S30V blades. I use both the ceramic and diamond hones.

I use a Spyderco sharpening kit at work, it works and worked well on my Benchmades, ZT and Striders.
