The Good:
BCM Bolt Carrier Groups are in production right now. We have been working to have enough finished for a complete batch. Should have some online in about 3-10 days.

The Bad:
There is still a massive shortage on BCGs, and its even worse from where we sit. There are only a small number of manufacturers that make bolts, and a smaller number of which who will build product specific to our POs and specifications. And product is just barely trickling in. In an effort to accelerate our ability to build groups, we are forced to separately contract some of the operations. We now bring in bolts in the white (after heat treat and then grind), having the shot peen and phosphate done locally (per our specs), then HPT/MPI, assemble and test fire. The bad news is that this raises costs. Website pricing will go to $159.95 for BCM BCG.
(LMT BCG pricing is not scheduled to change)

Thanks,
Paul

The prices SHOULD go up.

Will the price increase also affect BCM Bolt (w/o carrier) prices? From the description of the reasons, it stands to reason that it would.

A good quality bolt carrier group is better than none or one of inferior quality which will cost the same and crap on you when you need it most.

Still cheaper than DPMS/RRA BCGs on TOS's EE!

If I didn't have a line on an LMT BCG already, I'd pay the new price for one without batting an eye.

Paul, thanks for the heads up.

BCM gear has always been worth the wait, and worth the cost. Thanks for keeping your standards high.

The Bad:
In an effort to accelerate our ability to build groups, we are forced to separately contract some of the operations.

So while the price is going to go up a bit, we should also see the availability of these parts get better. Right?

Paul- the 5/1 batch sold out in about a half hour!? How many are included in a "complete batch"?

I was fortunate enough to get my order in, but it was a close call. Oh, and when is the next batch expected?

I'm hoping they get some more some time soon.
This was the one time I wasn't close to the computer and didn't have my cell with me so I missed the notification. I saw it on my phone around 10:30 Central time, knocked the dog over running to the computer and of course they were gone.
Any other time I would have had my phone and I actually got the text 20 minutes before the email.
Damn Damn.
Hopefully I can get my hands on a LMT but I would prefer the BCM.

Excellent. Thanks for the great products! Also looking forward to LMT product availability in June.....

(I guess the # sold today is top secret? LOL.)

Hope to have more in 4ish weeks.
