Two questions:

Does the FH make a 14.5" barrel 16" when permanently attached?

If so, will AAC permanently install them for customers?

You redesigned the wire/spring/clip thingie and the hills and valleys, right?

I thought it worked just fine.

Maybe I should look at the pdf...

I like your black box though. You need to get that posted up here. Will it cycle a 1911?

The ratchet came about because the SPR and SCAR-H cans have a MUCH faster pitch ACME due to the 5-start threads. The thread rate is so steep (5 times steeper than the 2006 M4-2000) that a spring detent would never hold it. So we did the ratchet for that. We got some good military feedback from it, so decided to offer it on the 416-SD and M4-2007. But correct, the old one was fine. In fact, the biggest AAC customer has decided they are continuing with the previous mount. I myself am not sure which I prefer, but it has been useful to AAC to be able to offer a country both and let them pick.

The Black Box is posted here and it will cycle a 1911 easily. It has a booster in it.

Can the Blackbox be gotten with front cocking serrations?
