Do you have any update on when you are going to start selling your Sabre Defence package? This money is starting to burn a hole in my pocket :D

That is a good question. The reason that I have not jumped on ordering their weapons (especially complete ones) is because of their price increase in 2007. For instance, a complete weapon from them with a chrome lined 16" barrel (no BUIS) would be in the $1,150 range. That is getting into the Colt price range and I am just not certain that people are willing to pay that price.
If you tell me differently, then I will order you one today! :D

What would the specs of it be?
1/7 twist barrel in 5.56 NATo, 4150 Vanadium, HPT/MP tested bolt and barrel, standard HG's, NON-Mil-Spec RE with their collapsible stock, M4 upper receiver.
If you went with the M4 profiled barrel, it would mimick a Colt 6920.

I have two Sabre lowers that I'm very pleased with. But like ou said, I'd be hard-pressed to send as much on a complete Sabre when I could basically buy a Colt.

Grant,
See my latest post in this thread: http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=3264
If true, if Sabre is making the majority of their rifles in house, including forgings, and the quality is there I think the price is worth it. If I was in the market for another carbine I would (and probably will) take a serious look at a complete Sabre.

I responded. Some of it is true and some of it isn't. SD makes a great weapon IMHO (especially the way I spec'd them out). The issue is, that I have to charge what I would for a Colt to make any money on their uppers and complete weapons.

Grant,
Are you able to get Sabre barrels seaparately at this point? I found a few Sabre barrels I like from another dealer but I would prefer to buy an entire custom upper using a Sabre barrel from you, assembled of course.
What I am interested in specifically are: 16" M4 chrome lined in 1-in-7 twist, and/or 16" Midlength chrome lined in 1-in-7, and an 18" Midlength chrome lined barrel in 1-in-7. Altogether I will need one of the 16" barrels and the 18" for two separate uppers.
If you have another manufacturer that you would reccomend please do not hesitate.
Thanks,
Pinnacle (Andrew)

I can get you any barrel you want. The ones I have spec'd out are 16" Govt profile barrel, Middy gas in 1/7 twist with M4 barrel extension and is HPT/MP tested and marked. I can also offer the same barrel in an the M4 profile.
Price per barrel is about $370.

Thanks for the fast reply. They sure did shoot the price up for 2007 didn't they? Oh well, I am a big believer in using the best parts and building it "right" just once.
I will be contacting you soon to spec out the first upper I would like you to build for me.
There goes the tax return.:)

Yes they did. Those uppers are also HPT/MP tested (not something they offer on their normal line).
