Hello & Thanks for the heads-up. I deleted the link.
Nice job on taking the time to do this for the forum. My 3 preferences are on it and are all great to work with. Milt Sparks, Bulman and Tucker.... By the way Bulman is one L not two.

Little bear holsters, Southern holsters doesn't work with the link listed, get rid of the stuff after actual site name and they work fine.
Tactical tools is a for sale domain, must be out of business.
Good list.

Hello & Thanks, I fixed'em.
www.rigrate.com is a nice resource as well. It allows you to search reviews and read opinions from end users on various holsters and duty rigs. For obvious reasons, it can be hard to get an idea of how a holster is actually going to work online. Thanks for the list. :) There were a few in there that I had not heard of before. Now, I have some browsing to do as I am currently in the market.

Hello NCPatrolAR & Thanks for the compliment.
The funny thing is, I've yet to find that certain Texas Ranger's Rig that got this whole list started. Who knows, it actually may have been posted in a thread somewhere and not on a holster site like I originally thought it was.
Bob, here's one to add: The Wilderness, for their Zip Slide and Safe Packer holsters-see www.thewilderness.com.
Best, Jon
Hello Jon & Thanks for the tip, I added them to the list.
Bob,

That's cool. I talked to Kevin to see what was up. 'Sounds like he was just frustrated with difficult customers and just about had enough. He mentioned he is gonna start things up again after making some changes. 'Just wanted to give a heads up.

Bob, check out Tucker for the Ranger holster you mentioned. He has done several. Type in Texas Ranger in his search window and see if one of them is what you are looking for.
Hello d90king & Thanks, I'll look for it at Tucker's.

Thanks for all the info. I have tried a number of holster, both IWB and OWB, from Milt Sparks, Del Fatti, and 5 Shot and can recommend all three. My personal favorite is still del fatti OWB but in hot climates concealing it is a challenge.
I have a guy I use that hand makes his holsters as well. He makes an excellent product, and his prices and time line are very reasonable. His name is Ray Cory and his web site is http://www.lobogunleather.com/

i just purchased the black hawk leg platform with serpa release for my glock 19, and let me say it is by far the best holster i have owned! i can do a front flip and the gun doesn't even budge! pay the $100 and go for the better holster!
John at NTAC makes some awesome holsters. I didn't see it on the list so I thought I would chime in.

My lovely bride just found out something in looking for a holster. No one will be surprised that the hip structure of women are different from a mans physique. Well holster fit on women can be a pain. She just found out that COMP-TAC offers their "Diva" enhancements. They dont advertise this on their web page, but you can contact them about getting any holster they have made in the "Diva" fashion. The "Diva" gear has a different cant just for women.

Just got them in the mail today from orionz06. The right-handed one is for me (G19/TLR1), left-handed one is for a buddy of mine that carries a G23/TLR1 off duty.
I am the owner of Trojan Tactical LLC, and we specialize in Kydex concealment gear. I look forward to working with any of you guys should I be honored with your business. We are EXTREMELY small time, but you can check out the site at trotac.com .

I second that. Ray's work is top notch.
I have 3 holsters made by Carl Collins. He does some great work! Prices are very reasonable too. Carl and his wife are easy to deal with, customer service A+.

With great sorrow I need to let veryone know that CC Holsters has gone out of business. I wish Carl and Amy the absolute best in life!
I will throw another in the mix...
Trojan Tactical LLC, available at trotac.com.
I've been using a Trojan Tactical holster and mag carrier daily on plain clothes duty for a few months now. Well made stuff and JB is a good guy. He will continue to get my business.
If it's not to self serving, I'd like to add myself to the list and let people know about my holsters. I am a one man shop and make everything by hand, right down to the stitching. I look forward to helping any potential customers with their custom needs.

Garrett Industries- http://www.giholsters.com/
This is the guy that makes the Silent Thunder series. The holsters are Kydex lined with leather. Really unique. He was also able to make mine for my Sig P220 Combat threaded barrel. For those of you that have them you know they're a pain in the arse to get a holster for due to the full size rail and for us military cats he'll make you a deal...well provided you can get on his "cool-guy" list. I can get a pic of mine if any one wants them.

Another +1 for Garrett. I just received a Silent Thunder STX (http://www.shop.gimagclip.com/CartGenie/prod-7.htm) from them for my G19 EXO. Ron Garrett was quick to reply to questions and he even honored the free mag pouch offer even though I ordered the day after it expired. I'd totally consider them for a second holster setup when my Kimber Stainless II 9mm shows up, once I sort out if front serrations on the slide are liable to tear up the leather lining or not. :(
Some pics if people are curious about the "hybrid" lining:

Boatman Combat (http://www.boatmancombat.com) out in California makes several kydex holsters and magazine carriers.
http://www.boatmancombat.com/product_images/f/837/Boatman_combat_dowloads_119__67114_zoom.jpg
I recently got to use the above holster (not my picture) in a handgun class. It does come with a slight forward cant, not sure how much. It has good retention, it does not come out unless you drew the weapon like your life depended on it. You could slowly draw the gun out of the holster with one hand but it takes some effort. The cant made the placement of the holster ideal past the 3 o'clock position. It's very sturdy. It's another option for those looking for a kydex holster.

It looks like Bravo Concealment just got their official site up and running.

Add Garrett Industries http://www.giholsters.com/ to the list I have never seen such quality in a kydex holster. I've owned Ravens, Comp-tac etc... I got my order in under two weeks. I had my holster and mag pouches for quite sometime and due to severe injury to my arm I had to learn to shoot as a lefty after shooting right handed for 20 years. They took the holster back as well as the mag pouches back and sent me a lefty rig. No hassle no problem. I cannot say anything but Mr. & Mrs Garrett are great people. They run business like the days gone by. Where they go above and beyond. I just had to add it as they have done a lot for me and build a grade A holster. I have been around long enough not to be considered a "troll". Check them out.

That Seth holster looks nice. Is the leather stiff / firm?
Honestly it's my first real/nice leather holster so I really couldn't compare it to anything. The leather feels really good though. And holds the gun really snug. Eric (company owner) told me to sit down with it watching a movie or something and just put the gun in and then pull it out over and over. After doing that it's REALLY nice. Holds my lc9 snug but draws smooth as butter. Even having nothing to compare against I honestly don't see how anything else could do the job any better.
They make absolutely great kydex holsters and have A+ customer service. They just launched their website www.hideousholsters.com and can also be found on ebay. Great prices and many of the popular options. I have 5 holsters all different types and I run them hard, they seem to get better with time. Best of all is their turn around is 7-10 days if not faster and almost half the price.
Here's a pic of some of them for my M&P 45, I added the threaded barrel after and also switched from Tlr1s to X300 with the help of a heat gun.

They make the best IWB I have ever tried. They have several others, but the IWB is pure concealed magic. Plus it has a steel band inside to retain shape for easy re holstering.
Check out LHS Kydex Holsters - IWB, OWB holsters and mag carriers. Excellent holsters for USD50 and free shipping.
They operate out of Bulgaria and the owner, Pavel Manev, is a real great dude. Tell him "Wo" sent you over.

From the website:
Once the carrier accepts your package, LHS Holsters will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, loss of package(s), and/or associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control.
Made in Bulgaria, eight week leadtime, no guarantees on shipping and if you wanted to return it you would have to pay to ship it back to Bulgaria. Looks like nice stuff, but I will pass, thanks.

Just ordered a holster for my M&P from this company www.armordilloconcealment.com
Nice kydex holsters here:

I've ordered a couple holsters and a belt from http://woolfegunleather.com/ and been very pleased with them.
Good quality, very well finished leather holsters and the belt is outstanding.
+1 Hideous holsters are awesome I have holsters for my Glock 19 w/ tlr 1 and 1911 w/ tlr1 along with mag holsters for each and PMag holsters. Also have an M&P x300 on order. Top notch gear and customer service
Kaluban Cloak makes very high quality kydex holsters with a short wait time I had mine in less than 2 weeks. Worn it every day for the past 3 months.

Bill, I've been wearing a max tuck IWB from White Hat holsters (http://www.whitehatholsters.com/Default.asp) for a few weeks now. I'm pleased with the quality and wearability of it. Customer service is good as well. I recommend adding them to the list.

Hey guys...
I've got another company to add to the list that makes some great quality leather holsters. They've been around since 1975.
Davis Leather Co: http://davisleathercompany.com/
I've got 2 more holsters on order with them now. A "T-Omega" for my Glock 34 and a Gunsite Omega for my 1911.
http://www.davisleathercompany.com/images/photos/14450Tomega_large.jpg
I've got another holster maker to add http://www.louisvilleleather.com/
I just picked up a Louisville Leather IWB holster for my compact M&P. His holsters go for around $60 which make them a nice, affordable leather holster option.
Hits:
- Attractive holster design
- Wide distance between belt loops
- Mold fit the pistol perfectly and allowed for custom retention stretching by the end user
- Comfortable
- Sweat guard
- Cost
- In stock or very short lead time
Misses:
- Leather is a bit "limp"
- Belt loops swivel instead of being fixed in place
- Snaps could stand to be a little tighter to avoid unsnapping.
- Overall stitching and build quality are average (mine had a few spots around the edges that were not dyed completely) Not bad at all for a $60 holster however.
- Higher quality holsters do a better job at keeping the gun tighter to the body.
Worth a look for someone on a budget or needs a holster quickly.

does great kydex work. I have a few and I love how fast the turn around was. It's my brothers who make them and if it's not perfect they will make it perfect for you. FTF or Ebay I think is all they do right now.

This thread is extremely useful.
I have to add ruleofconcealment.com to the list. I had an amazing holster built for my G19 with an equally well built dual mag carrier.
I really like how the front magazine is forward canted for easy draw. This is now something I regularly look for on magazine kit.
It looks like Bravo Concealment just got their official site up and running.

+1 for bravo concealment!

I've been real happy with my Fury Carry Solutions gear
www.furycarrysolutions.com
high quality and quick turn-around. Plus, they have multicam!
Just wanted to add Rhino Holsters to the list. I just added a quick review in the tactical gear section.

I would put another plug in for NTAC
NTAC website (http://ntacholsters.com/store/Default.asp)
I have two of their holsters, OWB for my G17 and G19, and have been happy with them. I recently ordered an IWB on for my G19, their wait time has gotten longer. It seems there are more Kydex Holster makers out their than you can shake a stick at, but they seem to stay busy.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v453/currahee/permanent/stipple.jpg
I withdraw my plug for NTAC as I am now ten days past my due date for a holster from them and they will not respond to phone calls, e-mails or facebook posts.
I'm really not sure I have any recourse - I think I'm out the $75 and don't want to order from someone else in case it shows up (I have another holster to order too)

I'll throw a plug in for Ryan Grizzle.
Fantastic customer service, and always hits his quoted times. I have several pieces from him, and I'm quite satisfied with the quality.

Nice idea and great guy to work with....
A++++ customer service

If you're looking for an iwb holster, I would check foxx out. I have his kydex trapp iwb for my glock 27. I carry everyday and everywhere (minus the gym) and the comfort and retention on this holster is perfect. I have no concern of the gun falling out during vigorous activities, which has been an issue with other holsters. I think the double clip hybrid holsters are overkill for a subcompact polymer gun. The clip holds my belt well, but most importantly the gun draws and holsters easily. The price is reasonable and shipping was prompt.

I received an email this AM stating that Rich Schaefer is making his holster business a full-time business which should significantly reduce wait-times on his products. He had previously run the business as a side-line and periodically had to step back when orders stacked up and/or his "regular" job demanded more of his time.
I have a couple of his Shaggy AIWB holsters (http://shop.customcarryconcepts.com/Shaggy-AIWB-SHG.htm?productId=12) for a Ruger LCR and a SP101. They are a nice product and Rich is a good guy to work with, as he was very helpful in assisting me in making the necessary adjustments to accommodate a set of Crimson Trace grips on one of these revolvers.
Give his products a look.

I am currently carrying my HK P2000 in a Shaggy which was made for my P30. The design is solid with my only complaint being the soft material backing peeling off. I have fixed it myself but I am sure if I sent it back they would take care of it.
I'm running a pair of White Hat Holsters MaxTuck versions and they are absolutely flawless, and made in the great state of Texas to boot.
Awesome CS and short wait times. You can customize them in a variety of ways as well.
