I did a quick search and did not find anything. Any info. would be much appreciated. I have an M9 A1 and while I realize there are quite a few holster for the M9 I am wondering if the added rail on the frame of the A1 will affect holster dimensions. I am looking for a belt or tactical holster not a concealed one.

Yes, the rail is going to affect holster fit and limit selection. Do not try to make a holster designed for a regular 92 work in your applicaiton. I would recommend that you check with Safariland, they are probably your best bet as they are the single largest supplier of quality holsters to departments and other agencies.

Steyr M9 got a new designation with the addition of the rail, so I understand your concern.

Just google Steyr and "kydex holster" and you should find the right option.

I think the OP is referring to a Beretta M9A1.

My apologies I was referring to the Beretta M9 A1

I saw this "universal one" the description says it is for 92 with rails.

There are lots of holster choices out there. Anything designed for the Vertec should fit the M9A1. Safariland, Kramer and many others make holsters for your gun.
