Can someone point me in the direction on this discussion. I know I have seen it, but can't locate it. What are most people's preferences ? Although a tactical holster looks cooler(like old Cowboy holster in the Westerns) The UBL is truly set up more like the real cowboy holster.
Not owning a tactical I am wondering when you are prone or in other positions. It seems like a strapped on unit would be awkward. A Ubl on the other hand seems less in the way.
I used to shoot in Cowboy Action. If you were wearing a holster that tied down to your leg it was very awkward kneeling down to shoot. I am wondering if you have the same thing with a strapped down tactical. Is this the reason I have seen threads where the double strap has been modified to 1 strap.
Once again, if there is already a discussion on this just point me in the right direction.
