I know that this pistol is way out of line with M4Carbine.net's handguns area but I had to show it to you guys anyways. This is a build that I have had going for about 8 months now.

The frame is a Thompson Encore from the custom shop.

The barrel is a 460 S&W Magnum 15" plus brake from Match Grade Machine.

The Wood is from Otter Custom Stocks, Claro Walnut and Fiddle Back Maple. He calls it the space cowboy.

Optics are Weaver Grand Slam rings and bases and a Leupold VX-3 2.5x8.

Hey, we can't be tactical all the time can we? :)

I sure hope so!! I built it for Moose and Alaskan Bear. Maybe even a Cape Buffalo if I can ever save up the $$. I always say that if you can't take it out you should have never built it in the first place.

Nice gravestone. Are you getting one for Pontiac, Saturn, and Chrysler?

That is some BEAUTIFUL wood! Clario walnut makes for some awesome figuring. I've seen some beautiful guitar bodies clairo...absolutly stunning. I'd have a hard time taking that thing outside for fear of marring that wood, but you are probably a stronger man than I :D

;) That brick came off one of the origional Olds buildings in Lansing MI. When they pushed in the last of the buildings they made up a bunch of the bricks for the lansing, MI people. It works just right for holding up my pistola.

Going out to the range in the morning to try out 2 different Barnes X bullets, a 200 gr. Hornady, 300 gr. Sierra and a 335 gr. wide lead nose gas check from Cast Performance.

That is a beautiful build. I am sure the groups will match the workmanship. Please post a target grouping when you can. Congrats on a job well done.
