I may behind on this one but I did a search and nothing came up.

Does anyone here use one or know someone who does? How practical is this thing?

It certainly looks fast but you can be just as fast I feel if you train enough. I also can't help but think of what would happen if got damaged and you couldn't get your ammo out. I guess you would be SOL.

Three guys from Costa Rica used this in a class I took. It worked ok but for the price I will stick with regular mag pouches and practice reloads.

Can't use PMAGs, can't use any kind of extended floorplate, I'll pass but it's not the dumbest idea I've ever seen.

I'm curious about getting into prone.

Damn. A gun rag I saw dated November of 09 talked about this thing like it was the latest and greatest and most innovative mag holder.

Sorry guys.

Neat idea, but it adds one more thing that can go wrong.

My biggest gripe was that it doesn't take PMAGs. He said at SHOT he was working on that, but no word since.

I was offered one of these as a T&E piece back in mid/late 07.
After talking with some of the guys using them I passed, and said that I would give it a couple of years of product improvement before wasting time on it. I have not asked for one since.

If all the kinks get worked out (I can't remember what they are and it is all second-hand info) it might be viable, but it still takes up a whole lotta space for what it carries and the limittions it imposes are a bit more than I like in a fighting component.

So basically, it moved from the: "Run from, screaming" folder to the: "Walk away, laughing" folder.

Strike 1) Can't use Pmags

Strike 2) Adds one more moving part to fail

Strike 3) Too expensive for what it does

Strike 4) Looks like it would make prone reloads quite the PITA

Currently doing a T&E on about 16 systems. Getting ready to head downrange with them.

So far they have proven to have thier place and uses. Probably not a general use system but for specific users, not a bad piece of kit. It is a bit pricey and as mentioned the inability to use other than USGI mags is a drawback.

I will report more once we put these under fire.

I don't know about wearing one but it seems that it might be a good Idea for a Vehicle mounted system.

Thomas, I know they have been working on something just like that.
