Winter Tyrant

Hey guys,
I was originally going to get a set of Danner's Fort Lewis Black 200G insulated (couldn't afford the 600G) , but a co-worker of mine just received a set of Gaerne boots that looked really nice. The thing that I like about Gaerne is that I work at a bike parts wholesaler and we sell their shoes which means that I can get their boots at wholesale cost. The downsides to this are that if I order a set and they do not fit, I cannot take them back, also they are made in Italy so I'm not too sure about recrafting like Danner would do. I WILL NOT buy boots from some Chinese/Indonesian/Brazilian...or any other company, but I do know that many Italian makers are great craftsmen and generally produce good products.
So what do you guys think I should do? Go with the tried and true (but pricey) Danners or go with the Gaerne boots that are cheaper but I doubt have been tested like a good set of Danners?
The boots will be used for everything...cutting wood up in the mountains, every day wear (I hate tennis shoes, sneakers, skate shoes etc..), running, jumping, snow shoveling, puddle stoming and hiking which means crossing streams, walking up and over wet logs, rocks, mud etc...
The boots that I was thinking about getting would be the Cervo
Sorry if this post seems a bit coarse by the way.
Thanks Guys
