View Full Version : blackhawk hip pouch
i was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with the blackhawk m16 enhanced hip pouch?? any feedback would be great, thanks
I used one in Iraq. I would not recommend it. Not very comfortable and can be a pain in the @ss.
Out of the bag it is a pain in the ass.
It is more workable if you remove the top leg strap, cinch it close to the belt, only put it on a good, stable belt, and don't put in more than 2 mags.
And even then it is still Vietnamese stitched nylon.
If you have to use a sub-load for ammo carriage I highly recommend the HSGI mini-modular subload panel with decent low-profile pouches. And even then, it's a subload, which I avoid unless I absolutely have to use one.
thanks for all the info, i really want to get my hands on a good hip pouch, that can carry a few mags, 2, 3, or pissibly 4, def no more than 4, i dont want drop leg thats why i was leaning towards the hip pouch, such as the omega enhanced hip pouch, if anyone has any ideas, or suggestion please share with me, thank you.
