Thinking about getting a Blackhawk Padded Patrol Belt and would like some opinions/feedback. Please let me know what you guys think.

Does this belt have drop leg openings?

It does have drop leg openings, but in a different sense than you might think. About 4 columns of MOLLE back there's a couple spaces with wider webbing where one could loop a drop leg strap. But there's no inner or under belt.

A warning:

When putting together a "battle belt", I tried one of these on. They run very big.

I noticed in another pic it had wide molle slots on each side.

How is the quaility?

They only retail for $40.00 so I thought of picking one up to just try. With no actual drop leg openings I will opt for the Blackhawk CQC Speed Clip Platform for my serpa.

I am on the "husky" side and was gonna opt for the medium version. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, me too, hence the "...ox" They do run a little big.

The guys that I work with who have them loop them into our split front vests (not a fan of the vest myself, but that's another story). Works OK. I prefer to have a means of separating my belt from my vest, so I separated them for a bit. I tried this with the Blackhawk belt, but found that it wasn't too stable with what I wanted to put on it, and there was no attachment point for suspenders.
I switched to an ATS belt and suspenders. Works well for my needs.
Are you planning on using this as a 1st line belt with more lines backing it up, or planning to run everything off of it?

A simple first line belt. Serpa belt platform, 2x Eagle FB pistol pouches, 2x Eagle FB M4 mag pouches, G2 light pouch, and multi tool pouch. Not alot of weight or bulk on this one.

I've got a Camel Bak Delta 5 & rigger belt/drop leg for my full loadout. This one will be for home defense and quick trips to the range.

not a big fan of them, the belt does not allow you too fine tune the placement of your gear. I feel that they are too thick, one good thing is that you can use the same mag pouches of your molle stile chest rig.
