Want a single magazine pouch for a 20 rd pistol mag

I'm looking for a molle compatible single magazine pouch that will fit my 20 round (and therefore pretty long) 9mm magazine. My Eagle brand pouch is great but the flap will not secure properly over the top of the longer magazine. Since I am only putting one pistol mag pouch on my vest I figure it should hold my biggest mag... I have thought about using a pouch for a collapsible baton, anyway, looking for brand recommendations. Thanks.

For those who need one: The Maxpedition 5 inch long flashlight sheath (sku #1431) works with Beretta 20 rd mags perfectly. It also works with the 15 to 17 rd standard magazines with no problems.

What kind of pistol are you using and what brand magazine?

I use HSGI modular mag pouches and Esstac pouches for my CZ 19 round mags so those might work for you depending on the mag.

I am using a Beretta PX-4 and factory 17 and 20 rd magazines. My S&W M&P 9mm factory mags of 17 rds work perfectly also. The 12 rd M&P Compact mags need a "plug" inserted in the pouch first so they don't fall to the bottom as do standard 13 rd Browning P35 mags. The Beretta factory 15-20 rd 92 mags work with no issue also.

What? You didn't get the memo? No, of course you are right, S&W does NOT make 20 rd mags for the M&P. I was on a roll trying out the various mag combinations and my typing got way ahead of my brain on all the combinations of mags I tried out. Sorry...

We also have 1" Taller Pistol mag pouches sewn up and available for just this purpose..

If your using an MP5 or 33rnd Glock magazine our Collapsible Baton pouch works well..
