I am looking to purchase a few 5.56 open top mag pouches and was wanting to know who offered them for 20 round mags? I'll be using PMAGS w/ranger plates.

Please let me know what you guys can recommend.

Tactical Response Gear is selling OSOE 20 rd. PMAG pouches. I have no experience with the pouch but they have them.

I was thinking of the Eagle FB single mag pouch. Would you be able to use the flap with a 20 round PMAG w/ranger plates?

I've never seen one up close but the flaps appear to be adjustable. There's a YouTube video that briefly shows the pouch on the TRG listing for it.

HSGI TACO mag pouch should accommodate a 20rnd P-Mag with Ranger Plate.
I have some 20rnd P-Mags inbound to confirm this.
What about the ITW Fast Mag? I'm sure MM could shed some light..

Can you post pics of how they attatch? Alice or sewn in molle/pal strips?

ATS does a shorty M4 Mag Pouch that will allow you to run full size 30 rounders in places with limited real estate (such as belt lines). It also accommodates the 20 round mags perfectly.

ITW FASTmags will work fine with 20 rounders, and leave enough sticking up to grab.

Thanks for all of the reply's. I decided on the 5.11 VTAC double mag pouch w/bungee. LA Gear had them for $8.00 and the LBE Belt for $9.00 on clearance. This will be a home defense rig so a 20 round mag should be snug but not as tight as a 30 round.

1x Serpa Sportster Holster w/STRIKE CQC Platform
1x 5.11 LBE VTAC Padded Belt
1x 5.11 VTAC Double Mag Pouch
2x Eagle FB Mag pouch

I might opt for either Eagle M4 FB or the HSGI Taco for my vest. About $7.00-$8.00 difference so for the cost of 3 Eagle's I could get 4 Taco's.
