What do you guys think of the special being run by CDNN on the M&P? I think its 800 for most models.

$800 for an M&P???? must be for rifles. Not a bad price. I'd still go for a BCM or 6920 though.

I made a few improvements to my M&P-15A (going to an H2 buffer & CS buffer Spring) but my BCM4 was gtg right out of the box.

CDNN is GTG. I have bought 4-5X from them and the CS and shipping times were top notch. I have turned several M4C members onto them and they have also been very happy.

CDNN did have 6920's on sale. Don't know if still do. I would go for the 6920 personally. GTG right out of the box. But then come the rails, the sling, etc. BRD!

BTW- CDNN's website leaves alot to be desired. Best to call and request a catalog.

That website does not show firearms. That is accessories etc only. The downloadable PDF catalog does list firearms though.

But never seems to have firearms prices in them, so I stop downloading them.

I downloaded one to check. Lots of prices and lots of POR. Who knows if an FFL holder would get better prices or not?

They usually have some of the best prices for the guns, but not always. In my limited experience, I don't think many of their accessories are reputable...UTG, Bec-ing, Target optics. Correct me if I am wrong. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone gotten any firearms accessories from them that proved to be useful (besides mags)?

I have ordered a Steyr M9A1 from them 9 months ago and everything went very smoothly and the customer service was good. The gun arrived within a week from the order date.

Good deals on certain scopes such as Kahles and Leupold(certain models).

Sometimes they run deals for FFL's such as 10% off firearms, etc. I think there is a deal going on now for FFL's. Just give them a call. Great guys.

$800 on a MP15A is a really solid deal.

Sorry, my mistake, that isn't a MP15A rifle.

I seem to recall that there was one ad for that rifle a few months ago where it said that the tactical quad rail was a UTG non-FF rail. If you're looking to purchase that particular setup, call them to confirm. The rifle looks like a MP15 OR that they replaced the handguards with a UTG rail, stuck on a T-Dot and laser, but hey, it comes with 5 PMAGs!. My MP15 (not purchased through CDNN) started out as an "Optics Ready" and it's been completely redone. I have not had problems with it, but to date I believe it only has about 1500 rounds through it, which is pretty low.

On a side note, that gas block that comes with the "OR" is really beefy and makes the rifle extremely front heavy. I ended up getting it replaced with a Young Mfg. low profile aluminum gas block, which is amazingly light, but reading the threads on the forum has led me to believe that may not necessarily have been the best way to go.

If I were to do it over again, I would have gotten the MP15A, T, or the VTAC version listed on the left. If I remember correctly, the A comes with the rear troy BUIS. The T comes with both front and rear Troy BUIS. The VTAC has all sorts of goodies...I believe JFreuler got one and you can read his review on it. I wonder what the price is for those.

With the free mags its a pretty good deal, def a good plinker.

If you want to see the prices in the catalog get on their mailing list. They will mail you a printed catalog and it will have prices in it. They used to publish the prices on the PDF online file but they got in trouble by many manufactures for putting up such low prices online.

Buy a CDNN "Custom Carbine", get a bag of suck for free.

Doesn't seem to be an M&P.

"Creative" adverstising on that page, though.

i read on a different board that it is the M&P 15 OR model... nice price for the rifle.

It's not as good as Grant's deal on a MP15A for $850

Grant's M&P15A is a better deal. Remember that with the M&P-15OR you get no iron sights, only the free bag of suck.

The 15A includes a $140 Troy rear sight and the promo 5 free P-Mags (call them $50). So your 15A rifle 'cost' is $660 (yeah, plus shipping and FFL), and no suck to foist off on your friends or some dimwit at the next jerky and Beany Baby show.

Although it might be fun to see how much someone would pay for a bag of suck.

ETA: I am biased though, as my wife bought me an M&P-15A this summer. I had been put on a waiting list back in Feb, and my local pusher greeted us one day by saying my rifle came in. After I was done looking confused ( I had forgotten all about it), my wife asked if it would piss off O, Reid and Pelosi, and slapped her cc down.

I called and that's the lowest price for the optics ready rifle. I'm sure the accessories are very cheap. Grant has the better deal, all the rest of the rifles on that page start at $999.

I absolutely hated the gas block on the OR. It makes the otherwise good rifle feel muzzle heavy.
