This is a set of guns we were proud to build for the winners of the Top Sniper competition. We posted some pics of the guns but we have some more to show and talk about. We thought that people would like to hear what we do to a 1911 to get it ready for example the crown is recessed and polished so if you drop the gun it will not hit and damage the crown. http://i807.photobucket.com/albums/yy358/SuperiorFirearms/STI%20SNIPER%20COMP%20DUTY%20ONE%2009/027.jpg http://i807.photobucket.com/albums/yy358/SuperiorFirearms/STI%20SNIPER%20COMP%20DUTY%20ONE%2009/025.jpg the guns have 25 hours of body work all the sharp edges are blended and the flats are block sanded to be as flat as we can make theme. Then we start on the timing of the gun so that it will not beat itself to death. The action work and function are most important to us it does not matter what the gun looks like if it will not run. On the other hand it does matter what the gun looks like once it runs and is in time. So we coated the guns it fde and black cera-kote we have fond that we can mach cullers well in that product. We take the utmost care to make the gun reliable so that the shooter does not have to worry about the operation of the machine while he shoots the gun just all the other things we think about. It is a lot of fun to work with someone who knows what thy wont. FWIW, I visited Superior's shop a month ago, and got the grand tour. I actually got to handle one of these beauty's, and believe me, these pics are nice, but they don't do the gun(s) justice. Top notch work...

The guns in the pics are built to order we build whatever you would like. We just make sure it is nice and executed to the best of our abilities. You can call and we will talk about the price for the work. The guns with night sights are $1230.00 from the factory so it just depends what you want us to do on the total package.
