I picked up a used H1 and put it on a Daniel Defense mount. I forgot to put locktite on the 4 small screws, so i took it apart tonight to put some on.

the problem i have is, one of the screws keeps spinning, like its stripped in the hole. The other 3 are no problem.

Is this a big deal, is it the screw's fault, or the hole on the aimpoint itself?

Thanks,

Tom

Sounds like the body of the Aimpoint is stripped out. I've had great experience with their CS even with used equipment.

It shouldn't be an issue but I would want all four screws functional.

Thanks. I'll try giving them a call monday, see if we can get it fixed.

I dont suspect it will be an issue if i left it that way, but if it can be fixed i'd rather just do it.

I also suggest CS with Aimpoint. If that's a no go properly install the 3 screws, then use high strength loctite on the 4th and you will still be good to go. I wouldn't like it but that's me OCD side showing.

I am pretty sure that they cannot fix a stripped how in the Micro body.

Give them a call and see what they say.

Thanks. Right now the 3 good screws are all loctite, and the 4th as well.

I dont think it can be fixed either, i'm just glad the other 3 are still good. I put loctite on all 4 just in case.

Thanks for the help.
