View Full Version : Bag for carbine carry w/ carbine in half?
I didn't do a good job at wording this, but....
A few years ago on the UsualSuspects forums, someone had a bag that was discreet, with velcro straps on the inside. You would take your carbine apart, and the straps would hold each half, making the carry bag very small.
It sounded like a good idea. Does anyone know where to get such a beast?

Blue Force Gear also has one. (http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=11&prod_id=156) It has a padded divider and the inside is Velcro that will fit with their holders and other DAP items.
USMC03 did a review of it here. (http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=36791)

Go to a baseball /sporting goods store. Buy a good quality baseball bat/equipment bag. Just don't put to much stuff in it, it gets heavy. Mine has the little wheels on one end. My 16 inch fits great, with the stock collapsed. I think it cost me about fifty bucks, but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't come unraveled. Especially if it has the neat little nike, wilson, addidas logo....., on it.

Never owned one (yet) but this was the first case of this type I remember seeing.
I've got one of these from Cav Arms:

It looks like a folding chair bag when its all closed up and slung over your shoulder.

Good use of camouflage! That's what I plan to get for my AR as well, should I ever need to be the 'gray man'
