Anyone have experience with the GG&G offset light mount? It can be found here ( http://www.gggaz.com/index.php?id=50&parents=89,164 )
I had one mounted on my ar with a surefire 6p and it worked great for room clearing and quick light flashes. then i tried a streamlight m3 on it and i liked that even better because i have momentary or constant on ability. GG&G makes good stuff, I give it a good to go but thats just my opinion

i got one years ago when they first came out, and the intention was to activate the light with the thumb while gripping the vertical grip. i don't use that method anymore, and also found that the GG&G mount placed the light too far outboard from centerline for other mounting positions.

This is the kind of info I was looking for. I was thinking about putting one on a MI rail system (the extended carbine version) at 9 oclock with the light sitting next to the FSB.
