I would suggest a Troy, but that would be kind of wrong matching the two;).

Troy and KAC both make excellent sights. Alot depends on what you want out of the rear, the KAC 600m gives you adjustment if that's a feature you desire. I'm partial to the Troys for what I use them for. I prefer to match them if possible

I am happy with my magpul.

Its difficult to beat Troys BUIS setup IMHO. The new sights that LWRCI had on a couple of rifles in SMG's SHOT pic thread look really nice also. They can be found here>http://m4carbine.net/showpost.php?p=555144&postcount=1

I recently ran across the ARMS #41 folding front sight. When deployed, it greatly resembles a standard fixed A frame, but folds down flat. Don't have experience with it, it just seemed like an interesting idea.

pics are attached below, and more info can be found at Botach Tactical.

guess I misread your post, about you having a rail. Oops, anyway, congrats on the sight you picked up.

I am happy with my magpul.

Considering the OP wants something low profile, the Magpul MBUS is probably the last sight I would have recommended.

Another vote for a Troy BUIS. I have a couple. Very solid and well made.

Having said that, I also have a couple of the ARMS 40L. There are a lot of complaints against anything ARMS, which is said to eventually work loose and fall off, but I haven't experienced it in 3 years.

I have, and am quite satisfied with, KAC folding sights. The front sight is very lo-pro.

There is a revised, sleeker version coming out sometime this year - if you can wait. Pics here: http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=45661

It looks really nice, but I've seen no estimates on when it will be available. KevinB should be able to provide that info to you.

If you are looking for inexpensive and lightweight the Magpul will work well, but I like the Troy just a bit better.

So you too would consider the MBUS low profile?????

Sooo funny, I was just pondering the same question!!

I saw the new KAC, but it honestly doesn't look very robust... and from looking at the excellent Front BUIS thread on WeaponEv, I determined the Troy and PRI to be the lowest.

I went with the Troy.

I should clarify before I get any hatemail that I was commenting on the KAC front folder that looks like an M203 leaf sight.

There is also another, more solid looking unit that resembles the Troy and yet another that is incorporated into the rail system... why, I'm not sure, since you can't really attach anything to it...
