Amazing piece of work. Not much left 'un-done'. I love the front end work; the plug and slide work is very unique and done quite nicely.

Looks like the ultimate in 'hide-away' slabs.

It gives me ideas for a 9mm Commander project.

that is just drop dead sexy!!!!!! If I weren't deploying, I'd throw my money to you for one! hahaha Idk why, but i love the back of the grip, how it slopes off into the magwell. BEAUTIFUL WORK! :D

Impeccable as always!
Nice integration of many details- golfball on the slide stop, recoil plug and mag catch. You have a great sense of continuity- everything looks related, as if it was all meant to work together, the whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts/modifications. Your Cerakote looks excellent, very smooth and uniform.
Great looking leather and photos, too.

Care to elaborate on the front sight?

I sent them to Chuck along with a NIB Pre 80 Series Colt Combat Commander...

That is one beautiful CC! I love the smoothness of its curves. What is the finish? Did this lighten the weight of it? I'll bet it cost a few $$$, but it is one of a kind. So, does this get carried or placed under glass? Great job!:)

This is very unique and nicely done all around. I especially like the golf ball grip all around the mag well, it looks like a tornado can't rip it out of my hand ;).

1911's aren't my cup of tea, but I have to say what a piece of art work. I really like the prominent sights, which I believe after reliability is a hall mark of a great fighting gun.
