I really did not want to see this movie and went in with very low expectations... All I can say is WOW, I was completely blown away by "Kick-Ass"… It is like a Quinten Tarentino and Stan Lee version of Napoleon Dynamite… I give it a big “Hell Ya”… A must see…

P.S. I highly recommend that you do NOT take any children to see this…

I saw it on ToddG's recommendation. I really enjoyed it. There is just something about young children cursing and killing people that always brings a smile to my face.

Here is a more risque' not work safe promo for it:

I haven't heard one bad thing about it. It is definitely on my list to see... I understand the little girl steals the show.:D

It redifines violence in cinema like Pulp Fiction and Robocop did. It is unlike anything out there. The little girl makes the movie- especially the comment about the commisioner and the 'bat' light.

I don't know where you could take a sequel and make it as fresh.

Hitgirl was pretty comical at times; I liked the movie.

I was on the fence about going to see it at a theater (we have one at home and the ticket prices just keep climbing) or not and after I watched THIS trailer now I want to go see it. :D

I fought going to see it as well...but absolutely loved it. It's definitely true that Hit Girl made the movie.

Agreed on not taking children to this movie. I went to see it during one of the matinee showings(really the only time I can stand going to a movie,) and other than a few other individuals and couples I thought the theater was empty...right up until the violence started and three sub 10y/o children started crying behind me. What really upset me was the the parents didn't remove them and get a rain check on their tickets. But that kind of thing is probably for a different thread.

Didn't see it with the wife, she has no idea why I got her a violet wig and a mask. I didn't beleive it was a 10 year old, I thought it was a midget at first.
