It is always fun for us to build a HUNTER. Typically, the owners of these pistols shoot heavy loads and often. Here is an all stainless (Weatherproof!) Hunter with our integral, effective carry comp barrel. That’s right!
To tame the .460 Rowland beast, we added a carry comp to this one instead of the usual 5.5” heavy barrel for fast follow-up shots.

What does the .460 Rowland achieve?
185gr JHP at 1425 FPS
200gr JHP at 1300 FPS
230gr FMJ or JHP at 1250 FPS

If you are seeking .44 Magnum ballistics with a sight radius similar to a 6” revolver but easier to tote, consider a Hunter.

I've been known to drop a Boar or two back in Germany. Not sure this would have been the preferred tool for the job, but it certainly looks up to the usual WC standard. I'm obviously less familiar with the .460 Rowland.

Definitely like what Wilson continues to do with the venerable 1911.

Not nearly so enthusiastic about the cartoonish new logo that seems to be making it's way onto all-things-Wilson.

Hope this new variant of the time-tested Classic does well for the company!
