The VTAC sling is instantly adjustable to improve your shooting position, allows shooting from weak side shoulder, secures the carbine during handgun transitions, and allows hands-free movement in difficult surroundings. Pad made with closed cell foam for added comfort for heavier firearms. The Viking Tactics, Inc. Wide (padded) Sling was developed after listening to feedback from their customers.

Brother paul- I'm glad that worked out for you. It is a terrific sling and Kyle is a great American- and a hell of a gunfighter.
Appx 50% of my students at classes use the VTAC sling. The fact that they are mostly mil is a strong reason for that.
I have either the VTAC or the Larue Enhanced VTAC on all of mu company guns now, AR's, AK's and the like.

It appears to me that this differs from the Larue version in that the pad is smaller than the one on the Larue; is this true?

I have one of each and the pads on mine are the same length.

Thanks Pat !
My first experience with the VTAC sling was in your class this spring, and I way very impressed. It is an outstanding product built for serious use.

Hi Rob,
It is my understanding that both slings are identical pads etc.
The difference being the LT model is a bit shorter and has permanent QD swivels on each end.

We do carry a super large variety of sling mounts, swivels, etc....
I will post more info shortly.

For the rear of a Benelli, would you suggest using the existing factory slot or would the MK-3 adapter work better?

I think the existing factory slot on the Benelli would work very well.

I just ordered one of these plus a couple of swivel/mounts. Look forward to trying it out.

I picked up the Viking Mk2 for a really heavy AR-15 that I have. I got the sling mainly for the padding and ease of adjustment and it serves these purposes well. The webbing seems a little thin though. I must say that the webbing on the Blue Force V-Tac might have spoiled me in the webbing department.
