New product from Vltor, the Enhanced Modstock (EMod).
The EMod is a longer and improved version of the Modstock with additional storage and an integral rubber buttpad. The EMod offers additional strength around the locking pin assembly. The strengthened area will aid in “mortaring” exercises or an accidental drop of the weapon.
Each storage compartments side can hold a variety of batteries, such as the following combos: four Lithium CR123 3-volt batteries or three AA batteries. Located near the bottom of the buttpad protrudes an aircraft aluminum strike plate. The strike plate partial guards the enhanced “clubfoot” portion of the buttstock. The clubfoot is more ergonomically correct for shooting in prone positions. The clubfoot portion also offers water tight storage, which can hold two AA batteries. Also, first for Vltor, the EMod is available in MilSpec or Commercial buffer tube sizes.
All EMods are offered in standard Vltor or Tangodown colors; Black, Flat Dark Earth and
Foliage Green. Retail Price is $125.95
