WTB A2 front sight tower

Looking for a used takeoff A2 front sight tower, doesn't matter if pre/post ban or with/without front sight post/detent/spring. Plan on cutting/shaving it for use as a pinned gas block under FF tube. If you get one that wasn't already installed on your barrel there is a 99% chance that it probably won't fit. The pin holes are drilled in both the barrel and FSB with the gas port in both aligned when they're assembled during barrel manufacturing when the FSB is installed on the barrel.

Ah, no wonder no one sells them predrilled. The rifle I have had the original taken off (didn't come with it) and replaced w/a YHM flip sight/gas block which I have now replaced w/a VLTOR low profile bock and troy rail but it doesn't cover up the front pin hole (ya still can't really see it under the rail but I'm anal like that. Any idea who makes a low profile gas block that could be pinned to a pre-taper pin drilled barrel? I would be willing to experiment w/a used A2 front sight or two if I got them cheap.

Randall at www.ar15barrels.com or ADCO www.adcofirearms.com can pin your VLTOR to the barrel. IIRC it's $20-25

Larue makes one as well that will cover the entire length a regular gas block would.
