Just picked mine up from my FFL. Aero Precision M4E1 with 12 inch MLOK rail, VG6 precision gamma556 brake/comp. Also the obvious magpul stuff, foregrip, STR stock and the MOE pistol grip soon to be replaced by my hogue, MBUS PRO BUIS. Just need to save up and get the Vortex Spitfire 3x I want now.

Rainier lower, at RE and Vltor stock. 18" rainier barrel and alg forend. I am waiting on a sandman suppressor, but the 1/2x28 keymount showed up, so I put that on.

CMMG Mk4 (with a few improvements to aid function) chopped to 12.5" with a KAC Carbine rail, CMC 4.5lb 2 stage, Magpul stuff and a Betta-mag adaptor, Vortex SPARC 2 and VMX3 magnifier
Also got a straight pull Upper for it in .223 with a lantac USC Upper, A prototype Sidecharge bolt with a hand chambered .223 wylde 18" barrel and a SPADA Handguard.

Yup- and in fact quite a bit of what they are proposing in the latest firearms bill is based on what have already.
Banning semi-auto centre fire, strict controls on de-ac guns, 5yr length licenses, medical checks etc.

Sucks. But we can have 12"barrel rifles and I can get a suppressor to match any of my firearms real quick and cheap too!

ETS Group and I have had no issues.

Which red dot are you talking about? The RMR on the pistol or the MRO on the rifle? Both are good to go.

I'm 96% sure I've read or heard them mention a QD mount coming later on, since they pursued maximum clamping force first... or something to that effect.

It's not actually THAT big a deal, especially given how well it seems to return to zero on their video, and how remarkably little movement there is before locking it down (seriously, almost zero fore/aft play before any torque is applied).

But I did cut down a 1/2" box wrench to keep in the grip until I remember it needs a tool... The first day I took it out, I forgot the wrench lol.

The upper is a Vltor VIS, the barrel is an 18" SS model from Faxon Firearms, the gasblock is from Fortis Manufacturing. The lower receiver and BCG are from Bravo Company USA, and the optic is the Trijicon, Inc. TARS.

Pretty slick setup, and not bad for a bunch of early teens.

My finished S&W M&P 15-22
So I finished my AR custom rifle to my final liking! Didn't want to spend a lot of money on it so I ordered a few things and made the rest myself!

Sig M400 with a full auto BCG and H2 buffer assembly with some BCM goodies on it. The Troy Battle Sights and 12 in quad rail. I think the trigger was replaced on it because i have never felt a trigger so nice on any AR.

For all our enthusiasm for the more radical ways you can alter the basic AR15 carbine---free float! rails! lights! IR designators! optics!---when all is said and done the basic AR15 is still a dandy little rifle. I might lean towards a DD A1.5 rear sight, but that's just because I really like the DD A1.5 rear sight.

An old MI QD socket mount I got years ago. It doesn't have the rotation limiters in it like later models have, but it is compact and still works well enough for what it is.

Not S&B, it is from SightMark. They are pushing into the high quality optic world, and this is their 1-6 model. The glass is super clean, and everything seems to work quite nicely. The largest complaint I think people will have is on first look it has "softer" lines, so it doesn't look like all the other upper end optic products on the market. I know that doesn't make much sense, but I'm not sure how else to describe the visual difference.

I've got the TR24 1-4x24 with the green triangle post. I will say it's an excellent optic for what it is, the green triangle works great for fast target acquisition at closer ranges, but I have found it lacking for longer range precision shots as there are no stadia lines and it's basically like shooting with a magnified red dot. If I could purchase a different optic I would choose the TR25 for the little bit extra magnification and the mil-dot reticle. I definitely think you're on the right track with the 25

Yes I'm very familiar with the TR24, been using it for 3 gun since 2010. The triangle just never did it for me, so I use the German #4 on the TR24.

For the TR25 I like the MOA reticle because the top vertical line is thin, no dots. But the mil dot seems to stay thinner on the horizontal and vertical lines longer. If that makes sense. I doubt I'll ever be ranging with either reticle, I just want one that's useful on 1x and 6x. Also I read a review the bottom post on the mil dot was thicker because that's where they ran the fiber optic to the center dot, I am assuming the moa reticle will be the same though. I'm not even considering the circle dot reticle or German #4. The circle dot just looks like too much going on for me. The German #4 is plain and simple as is the standard duplex, but if I get some loads worked up and can match the drops with the mil or moa dots, then at least I'll have hold over marks.

The TR24 is staying on the pictured 11.5" KAC and the TR25 is going on a 16" KAC.

Maybe I'm over thinking this.

Will it fit with a mag inserted?


I have a similar setup (11.5" BCM) in the same Wilson tennis bag. Mine has an Aimpoint Pro on it, though.

With the Aimpoint, it will fit in the bag easily with a 20 round mag inserted, but not quite with a 30.
