My Larue Stealth

Upper is LaRue Tactical Stealth with an 18" ion-bond barrel and 13.2" hand guard.
Optic is a Mueller 8.5-25x44AO Tactical Mildot on a LaRue SPR-E QD mount.
Bipod is a Harris on a LaRue QD mount and the charging handle is an LMT.
The lower is a LaRue billet with a 3# Timney trigger, KNS pins, and a Phase 5 Tactical EBRv2 bolt release.
Sling is a LaRue with modifications.
20 round pmags are all I use.

I'm sure whatever mod/ staff combined the threads PM'd you to let you know what happened and why. If not, I'm sure they will, otherwise no one learns what rules were broken. :)

Not into one thread. We dont want 800 seperate threads that are nothing more than people commenting on how a single picture looks. Posts such as that need to go into one of the existing picture threads we currently have under way.

Removed the TR24 for use on the MWS and installed a Comp M3 and the BUIS from the MWS.

Sighted her in with some Tap 75gr and I'm good to go.

Thanks, just got it finished up. Not sure if I'll leave the ACOG on it, wanting to get a 1-4x for it at a later date.

The stock is the Ergo/Falcon F93. I also hace a M93b and like this one just as much. Biggest advantage is that is uses the conventional mounting method, leaving more sling mounting options. They also are making the strike plate, and have heard the buttpad is in the works, but I was able to find one of the Magpul M93b pads. :cool:

I have thought a gizillion times about trying or even how to capture a shot of smoke coming out of the breech but hell apparently the muzzle works extremely well too:D but quickly abandon the thought as I have no clue how to esp. with one person capture a still smoking barrel or chamber whether some kinda of artificial smoke is used or live rounds down the tube and then also take a relatively clear and overall quality shot. Pic taking is incredibly challenging and tedious to get both quality and creativity in shots from what I can tell....That is generally the stuff I really enjoy but I suck, had little to no natural talent and a kodak 4MP P & S...purely a spectator these days.

I put this particular shot behind some of your other recent incredible shots/masterpieces(heat pic maybe cannot ever be topped...so awesome) however the smoke aspect once again shows you got the skills to easily pay the bills. In the future perhaps a shot of some gnarly smoke clearing the ejection port after the last rd. fired and bolt locks back would be very neat.

They aren't, its part of the board issues with image sizing. Instead of mandating people to post images of a certain size, the board is using code that shrinks images, which kills people with slow internet connections when massive files are uploaded. Its cutting off a nose to spite a face.

Well it's time for another AR. :laugh:

Monday I picked up an ArmaLite M15 Stripped Lower Receiver that Impact Guns has had on sale for $120 for a while. I also got an ArmaLite LPK and BCM milspec receiver extension/M4 Gen II stock kit. Got it put together Tuesday and must say the LPK is excellent and everything went together smoothly. And using a clevis pin to install the pivot pin detent sure made that easy, no pins launching across the room like the lower I did last year! This is the second BCM stock kit I've bought and they're about as good as it gets.

I put my ArmaLite U15A4CB upper with a Daniel Defense BCG on the new lower which frees up my S&W M&P-15 lower for a new upper. Not sure what I'm going to get but probably a BCM midlength. Since I'll likely go BCM I was tempted to get one of their complete lowers but couldn't resist marrying an ArmaLite logo lower to the ArmaLite upper.

The Case is Storm, I have the identical dimensioned Pelican at work, you can't go wrong with either.
The top half shown has 2 handles on the side made from wire coat hangers w/ tubing on and the base is masonite. Underneath is more mags, sling, parts kit, cleaning kit, and room for another SBR upper. If i were to do a 16" upper I would get a thinner case and only have 1 layer, it would get heavy.

I shot an ad where I had to balance/ drop a weapon while taking a picture using the self timer. It was terrible, especially as the lighting wouldn't hit it right if it was off by a few degrees.

My new BCM magpul gun. When the midlength MOE hand guards came out I just had to have a upper to put them on. I really like this set up. It's nice and simple plus light weight. Shoots great! Nice and smooth!

Here's a pic of my light set up on the middy MOE hand guards. I use a DCC low pro scout mount that tucks the light in really well with the slant of the MOE HG. It was a little tricky getting the rail on top to mount the SR-XX switch.

my glock just started that...and it's really annoying. it kills the reload times when it doesn't go to slidelock on an empty mag. still have to diagnose the problem though, and it happens on multiple previously good glock mags, so I don't think it's a mag problem.

today was a fun match. stage 2 was the smoothest, then stage 3 went to hades, haha. I would love to shoot a lot more, but med school keeps me pretty busy, and poor.

Have you adjusted your grip recently. Your strong side thumb may be pressing on the slide stop lever and unintentionally preventing the slide from locking back on the last round.

Had the same thing happen to me a couple of times before I figured out why.

Just finished the build (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=64175) last night. I'm waiting on the mailman to bring me my sling and BUIS and need to use the vice at work to install the compensator I bought--BCM locks muzzle devices down tight. My firearms FALs, 1911s, Glocks, AR15s are mostly desire driven and only tempered by budget. I have had a time in my life where a used $100 shotgun was all I could afford, whereas now I am thinking seriously about a Class III M16 full auto lower.

The reason for putting together the 5 ARs I have was that I was thinking about different capabilities. With different optics and varying barrel lengths, you can change the operating envelope of an AR, but I also wanted to keep a common feel.

xbmxracerx, i could see the squared seat stay's but not the head tube badge. nice ride. i never raced but on the east coast did my fair share of 1/2 pipe, vert and dirt. i also raced downhill for years till i broke my hip. that was back in the late 90's till about 2001. i used to ride with some of the old guys (lol) from GT, Dave Volker, Rob Nolie, & Trevor Myer(sp). Those guys would come to the shop i ran and ride w/ us at night and do air shows during the day. A very good friend of mine is the National sales Mgr. fror trek. i'd ride w/ him some but that dude was nuts. Good luck on the dirt bro!

Here's my AR as it is now, started as the low tier AR I wasn't going to put any money into and just shoot, somehow parts keep finding their way onto it, next up is a stainless 1:7 16" barrel, a Geissele SSA-E, and some KAC irons to hold me over while I put some money aside for a NF 2.5-10x. Does this happen to everyone?
