That noveske is the best looking one in the fleet.

How do you like those KAC sights?

I like them a lot. I doubt I will replace all of my Troys but they will be on all future builds. The Noveske is very nice and I will be cloning it shortly.... Since I am home with a sick daughter I am working on some more pics. The 6.8 MRP and LWRCI M6A3 is next....

Just like the firearms world gear is only part of it, you don't need the fanciest DSLR to take good pictures. A $10 tripod, a few minutes messing around with the lights in my bathroom, and another few minutes in photoshop is the difference between this:

There's a lot of great info in this thread (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=33201), even with a cheap camera I guarantee you your photos can vastly improve. My general quick advice is always use a tripod, always use the timer, and never use the flash, and practice practice practice.

Can you see over your fsb with that optic? I had the same one on mine and all i could aim at was the gas block:laugh:

And if your going to use that for coyote hunting, I'd suggest something with better battery life. those buggers are fast, and with all the ones I've shot, I would have never had time to turn an optic on.

Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy one of these:

The space between the rings was too small to fit my Bushnell Trophy Red dot with Auto on/off feature. So I went to my local sporting goods store and purchased the same Red dot WITHOUT Auto on/off and it fits, barely. Also, you will have to tweak the rubber gasket on the back of the scope to make it fit so you can put the caps on (cut it down to size), but I've done it, and it works like it would normally.

yea i can see over the sight, the dot is a little high in it to see over it but i have it co witnessed to it just help me aim and know exactly where the top of the sight it, sometimes i use it, sometimes i take it off, depends if i get a scope or not sooner or later

My DPMS. The DPMS lower was a gift for helping a friend out. The upper I purchased for $400.00. The DPMS upper came with a milspec receiver extension and a heavy bbl. I properly staked the gas key and the castle nut myself and added the furniture. I am into it for a good price and it has been completely reliable.

My new BCM 14.5" middy with PWS FSC556 SM (Suppressor Mount, for my new KAC NT4 can) muzzle brake. I absolutely LOVE this blaster, and it's the softest shooting gun I've fired. At least as soft as my SR-15, if not more so. It's a truly amazing carbine and I highly recommend them to all:D

I have since added a Surefire muzzle brake and swapped the CTR out for an ACS. I am thinking about having the barrel cut to 14.5" and replacing the Surefire brake with a Battle Comp to possibly shave a little weight and help with the overall balance.

Also wondering if swapping the LMT sight out for a DD and moving it back a slots on the rail might help or if I would even notice the difference.

Front sight is DPMS uses std. A-2 sight parts and is mounted correct.:)

Its slowly coming along. I have decided to stick with the A2 stock instead of the collapsible and it is wearing a Strikefire because the wife was thoughtful enough to buy me it for Christmas. It works until I get the money together for the Aimpoint.

Open yourself a photobucket account (they are free), or other similar image hosting sight, upload your pics there, then copy and paste the image code into your thread and there ya go. If the URL doesn’t have the brackets, it won’t work, you can use the sunset looking button on the top of the text box when posting to make the brackets for you.

Wow, after looking at all those pics I really feel my age.
My son has a nicely built AR like all you guy's show but mine are all old style A1 upper last generation stuff.
Gotta admit I like looking at your stuff though, just dont know how much of it works. With that said here's my 607/629 and my short gas Inch Para FAL. Since I shoot with my bifocals on now, I dont get past 100 yards anymore.

My 6920 is pretty much done. I have a Troy BUIS I forgot to put on it, and I might change the ERGO grip for a MOE+ when they're released. I like the cheek weld of the ACS, but not the weight. I may go to a Vltor or SOPMOD. Maybe. I'm also not sure I like the B.A.D. as I haven't had enough trigger time with it. So it may stay, or go the way of the Dodo.

Paul, i don't have the skills to use an iPhone 4 as my camera.. :sarcastic:

i only use the torch/flashlight apps to gave me a strobe green light that was captured by my camera. :D

oh BTW.. my 1 year old son can kick your ass with the iPad.. :D

I wish. It's just an X, although it had every option except the towing package. I have a 4" ProComp lift and 35" ProComp M/Ts on it. When more Rubicons end up in junk yards I'll swap the transfer case and axles. :D

I know the consensus is there is no need to break in a chrome lined barrel such as this, and maybe that statement answers my own question, but would anyone suggest a certain 5.56 round count down range before using my CMMG .22 conversion BCG?

Trying to figure out the optic part and get some shooting under my belt!

Inspect, clean and lube per the manual then go sight in the irons. Run a couple hundred rounds with the iron sights then you can pic an optic. ;)

Thanks. It's the SD3G. I tried out a S3G at a local place a few weeks ago and I loved it, and I did a bunch of reading and most of what I read said that the Dynamic version was even better. The previous trigger I had in the rifle was a SSA, and while I liked it I've never been a fan of 2 stage triggers. So I took the plunge and ordered the SD3G and got to shoot it a bit this past weekend, and I'm thrilled with it. I have a class coming up in a couple of weeks and I'll really get the chance to wring it out there. Also, when the rifle matches start up again in this area in March I'll be putting it to good use in match settings.

I built this rifle myself, head to toe. It's a Tactical Machining Upper and Lower receiver (not matched, but still not wiggle) and bolt. The lower has an ACE stock, Ergo Tactical Deluxe grip, KNS II pins, Geissele 3-Gun trigger, Ambi selector. I also got an Unclemikes quick detach sling swivel kit which came with the female part which I attached to the top of the ACE stock with an extra long scew I got from the hardware store. This really fit comferterably when slung and is fast to get up into position without getting tangled or ending up with the sling between the stock and my shoulder.

The upper is the Tactical Machining with their bolt as well and a BCM Gunfighter Mod3 CH, a BCM 14.5" midlength barrel, YHM Low-profile gas block, 1.5 BattleComp pinned and welded, 13" VTAC Extreme handguard, MI QD Sling swivel attached to a VTAC 2-point padded sling. The flashlight is a Quark 123 squared turbo from 4Sevens in a VLTOR QD mount.

All topped with Magpul MBUS and a Millett DMS in a GGG mount.

... I think thats about everything haha.
