What is your optics on the Recce? What kinda groups are you getting as well?

It is a Leupold MK4 1.5-5 illuminated SPR reticle. The barrel is a Lothar Walther LW50 with a Wylde chamber and it is easily sub MOA with match ammo.

Nothing wrong with those rifles? Great compant with great service, accurate, reliable and good glass. What more do you need? Dont wory about what others have, just take care of business with what you have.

Worst thing you can do is not shoot the snot out of them. I would put a Noveske barrel up against any barrel on the market. Im sure that they are .5 rifles with the right trigger puller.

So, I recently installed the Battle Arms 45 degree selectors. Very nice piece of kit. Right now I'm running a standard/hybrid combination (as all my 90 degree Bad-ASS selectors have been set up) and a standard/short combination but have a short thin on the way to try on one. The two short lever set up works fine, but since I can't alway have a perfect grip and I also ride the selector when firing, I like the standard lever on the left side. The hybrid works better for me with both the 45 and 90 n the right side as its actually more out of the way than the short lever is. The short and thin lever should be even more out of the way, but may be too thin for me since my knuckle of my trigger finger helps switch it back to safe.

nope, but then again, I was off road on the 400 acres we have, checking on the property line that borders a rather scummy trailer park. We get trespassers and pot growers all the time in the woods that is the actual border. Actually rolled up on a couple guys poaching last week. Didn't know what to think we I drove up fast and got out with a "assault rifle". Its more fun in the summer, cause I usually have the top down and the doors off.

That was SARCASTIC!!!!! :lazy2: i shoot iron sights all the time with certain rifles and love it, sometimes more than through the crosshairs...but if your reaching out with percision, you can go ahead and strap on an NCSTAR on yours all day...

Sarcasm is hard to pickup on the interwebz sometimes.
But Ya you're right. NCStar and BSA optics are the only thing I strap on.... Precision.

I do not agree.

I dunno, on a .308 precision rig I would agree... Looks like he picked great glass for the roles of the rifles. Though personally I would buy an S&B over the CQBSS all day at the price point and maybe even some others. Just not a fan of that optic or how it was shilled in its early days.

This gun is long gone from inventory now. It was sweet though. That Swarovsky Optik Cobra ZF 1.5x14 circle dot was notorious for allowing us to shoot quarters off the wood pile at 50 meters. Picture is circa 1996. That's my buddy punching holes.

JUST picked this LMT up a few hours ago. Got it used but its in great shape, and I think I got a good deal on it. It didnt come with any sights so I picked up that BSA red dot holographic and that blackhawk foregrip while I was at the shop. For a $70 sight I am VERY happy with that BSA! It was just a joke BMX.

BCM, The 'douchebag camera angle' is when you turn the camera back at yourself. It actually looks kind of cool but is douchey to some. I said the same thing to Travis Haley on his Facebook page and he didn't get offended. I didn't mean to offend BMX. I've done some shooting with that camera angle and decided I'd leave it to the 'professionals'. Lol.

I understand that most here are not into this kind of thing, but I thought maybe some might like to see something different.

Last Monday I took my 6mm DTI to Midwest Hydrographics (http://www.midwesthg.com/)to get it camo dipped. It was finished yesterday and I went and picked it up today.

I couldn't be more pleased at how it turned out. I went with Backlands West camo with a tan background. I got it home and re-assembled it. I think its going to blend in well with the fall grasses here in KY.

Thanks. That will probably be the last until January 28th. Have a calling contest that day so I'm going to hold off from calling them until then. Last year we killed 9 in one day. I think we'll do better this year.

I really, really like that. How's the balance with the FSP rail + pencil barrel?

It's just about perfectly balanced for me, and the guy I put it together for thinks the same way. He's happy with it.

Why use KNS pins with the GA trigger???

That's like putting hubcaps on a M3.

Please educate me on this since I was told that there were some Geiselle Triggers that shouldn't be used with KNS Pins but the SD3G wasn't one of them. If it would affect the function of the SD3G trigger, I would definitely take it off.

It's a KAC (Knight's Armament Corporation) URX III but it's made specifically for AAC for this upper and is cut to their specifications. This upper is SUPER light and my YHM can really feels like a pig now when I handle this thing w/o it.

Removed the KNS pins, added the T1, RSA and replaced the AFG2 with the AFG. Much better feel for me. Thanks to those who advised me against the KNS in the GA trigger.

This is my RECCE rifle with a Trijicon mini ACOG at 215 yards standing unsupported. The audio is much more interesting than the video IMO....
