Awesome pic GB. I swear I am getting a decent camera soon......
After another ammo purchase, a .22 conversion upper, some more mags for the M&P 9, a variable scope....etc, etc. :blink: It never ends....oh and the Kino build :suicide:

It's amazing how firearms somehow magically gets you into photography.... And how it becomes difficult to balance the budget for each.

All my photos are taken on a Panasonic Lumix GF1. I think its only 12 MP. I got it for about $600 three years ago, and it was my first "quality" camera, other than point-and-shoots. I'm thinking about buying myself a new camera for Christmas. Maybe a Canon EOS 60D or if I really splurge a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Then I'll really start taking some photos. ;)

I really like the balance of the rifle.

ATM I'm only looking to add the MOE handguard, bi-pod, and optics.
Oh, and a sling heh.

I'm really not wanting to spend over $500 for some optics.
And being this is my "long range" gun, and my Stag will get a RDS, I'm looking to put something where I can shoot farther on this one.

So if anyone has any advice to give me for optics/glass for this thing PLEASE PM me. Yes, I know there is a thread/section for it and I'm currently browsing like 5 different threads/areas on M4C lol.

Also, I posted a "review" in the appropriate section for the purchase but I just wanted to say here also, that all the little goodies were a nice touch!
A BCM hat (OD in color) lots of stickers, and (2) DVD's one with

I'm looking forward to buying my next one already haha.

Thanx for the PM. I WAS leaning toward the CMR about 2 yrs ago for the Stag but I never had the extra cash flow.
I'm doin better now financially (despite the 2x mistake of Barry playing CIC) and I'm now leaning toward that again.

OR.... I'll get the PRO for the BCM as well and see about one of those 6x magnifiers.

New to the forums!! Here is a few pics of my Buschmaster M4 A3 Carbine.

Recently got into target shooting with a friend and decided to pick up a new rifle. Its a Buschmaster M4 A3 Carbine Patrolman's Rifle. Added a few upgrades and zeroed my Burris ar-332 scope on seven shots, at 100 yards. Plan on doing my first coyote hunt, next week.

I know im gonna get some hate for rockin the dpms. But ive beat the shit out of her During Marauders tactical in phoenix (special operators course) everything including dragging her through the dirt throwing her over obstacles and Doing various night ops. Did it run flawlessly? nope bolt locked up on it a few times after failing to discharge a round. But in the desert with dirt in the chamber and pretty dry as well. Sprayed some rem oil just directly in the chamber since i needed a fix asap and she ran fine afterwards. Would i trust my life with her for 99% of the time. I have to say yep

Thanks man!! I custom painted several of my 30rd magpuls. I have been airbrushing for three years and decided to add a little something to my gun. Thought about painting the whole gun, but decided to wait a while. The scope is a Burris ar-332 3x scope.

Any clearance problems with the BAD lever on the billet Mega receivers?

I've got a Mega billet upper and lower I'm making into an SBR. I've seen very little info on whether or not the BAD lever fits.

It does touch on the edge just above the trigger guard when the bolt is locked back, but doesn't seem to affect it at all as it runs fine.

The entire shot certainly does pop. It looks really good as my desktop background even though the ratio (fit to my screen) isn't quite right. I wish that I could have you photograph my own weapons for me!

Roger that, I just didn't recognize it in the pic. I was looking at the SWFA 1-6x and hoping that someone would like to offload a 1-4x real cheap so that they could upgrade when the 1-6x comes out. Even a used one will most likely be out of my reach, though. It looks like a great setup. Nice rifles!

I don't think that's a JAE. looks like the ProMag knock off. though I could be wrong.

That is a Generation I JAE-100 stock that I bought back when they first came out in 2006. The Gen I does not have the barrel tensioner on it, nor does it have the side pic rails (I assume that's why hkhunter thought it was a fake). There were a lot of little changes between the Gen I and Gen II JAE stocks, but not enough that I ever felt the need to upgrade. It has performed well for me, though it is a heavy beast and part of the reason I am building a lighter .308 AR.

Been researching and trying stuff for about a year to get to this point.

Started with 4x Colt LE6920's and ended up with 2 with Aimpoints like the one in the pics below and 2 more just like the one in the pics below except with 3x9 Leupold Mark AR scopes in Larue mounts. I won't rule out upgrading the 3x9 Leupold Mark AR scopes but haven't been able to make my mind up on what I would want instead.

I've been happy with the Colt LE6920's. I was a little wary after reading all the tales about how prone the AR's are to malfunction but I've put about 1200 rounds through my LE6920 without a single failure to fire.

It's lighter than the M4 and the Larue Mount for the ML3 holds a spare battery. That's 10 years of battery life. Why can't other red dot sights even come close?

Tried a number of slings before finding Vickers Combat sling.

BE Meyers 249 series flash hider
Close call between BE Myers 249 and the Smith Vortex. No real reason to get the BE Myers 249 over the Vortex other than to be different.

The BE Myers 249's come with a washer (not a crush washer) and they bottom out on the muzzle crown leaving the washer
loose enough to turn with your finger tip. Sent an email to BE Myers tonight asking is this right or should I add some peel washer slices to get the flash hider to bottom out on the washer instead of the muzzle crown.

Not quite ready to get rid of my Smith Vortex's yet.

Tried all kinds of rail covers. Close tie between the Knight's panels and Larue Index clips. Never knocked a Larue Index Clip off but I couldn't get it out of my mind that I might. Ended up going with the Knight's panels but I'm keeping my Larue index clips in case I change my mind.
