how do you like the lwrc stock compared to a sopmod ?

Not quite as comfy as the Crane SOPMOD, but still a good cheek weld and more comfortable than any non-sloped stock. Doesn't lock up as tight as the Gen 1 SOPMOD, but not too sloppy on the LMT RE. Nice, lightweight, low profile, fairly inexpensive... I like it.

The mbus pro's have replaced everything but KAC's on my rifles. I don't even consider troy's a valid option anymore, especially when a set of mbus pros can be had for $135-ish.

I agree with this for the most part - I just find them a bit harder to deploy than most folding BUIS options. I love everything about them otherwise. Maybe their Gen II should feature some short wings on the side to help aid with quicker deployment.

Moved the MTAC from the SCAR to the DDM4. Of course, that meant I had to repaint everything to match. I really like how it turned out.

I'll admit, mine is difficult to flip in front of my DBAL. I'd worry more about snags or breaking it like that. I see your point. I figured there had to be a reason.

You can tuck it back a bit and still have it forward-facing... and to counter... A BUIS that you can't deploy is worse than a BUIS that "could" get banged up/snagged (IMHO).

Here is my first AR. It was a kiss style with carry handle and M4 plastic handguards. Then is sported a Troy VTAC rail. I didn't like that so I cut off flash hider, replaced gas block and added a RIS II rail, then pin/weld new flash hider.

Decided to throw a KMR, BCM charge handle, BCM comp, and and BCM stock and grip on my 6920. I also thew some Troys and BCM low pro gas block on it.

I think I like it. May throw one of my Aimpoints or an Eotech on it and call it a day. 29427

Yep that's good old Hershey-crap-chocolate. Funny how this gun started out as a back up with just a red dot and MOE handguard. Now its morphed into my favorite rifle I've ever built. And that's a VX-6.

The rifle I just posted a pic of is a complete BCM a that used to wear MOEs that I didn't even have an optic for. It's purpose was just a hedge against a ban or for a panic sale to make $$$.

Yes sir Euro and nice rifle man! Completely agree. I bought the parts to build the same rifle as a back up after Sandy Hook and that's how she started. Original build:

My 3-gun centerfire rifle and 2-gun rimfire rifles
My centerfire rifle is a BCM 18inch SS barreled rifle with a JP hand guard and Skull Tactical muzzle break. For optic's I use a Bushnell 1x4 AR Optics FFP AR-223 Riflescope with a Larue mount Backup irons are some knockoff I got on Amazon but they work and cost way less that the name brand ones. The lower is a pre-ban Bushmaster with a JP trigger, Magpul bolt release, Odin mag release and Magpul/Ergo stock pistol grip. Randall from AR15 Barrels re-profiled the barrel and sandblasted it for that ultra-cool flat look.
The JPNC22 features the same JP handguard and backup sights. The optics are Vortex Crossfire 1x4which I really like and the lower is a Spikes with a CMC trigger, Magpul bolt release, Odin mag release and ACE/Ergo stock pistol grip. Haven't really shot the BCM yet but taking it out this weekend to break in.

Nothing fancy... My homebrew SR-15 Mod 1 clone with AAC upper as opposed to KAC.

I didn't really build this one. I just slapped an AAC upper onto a lower that I built. I had too many spare parts sitting around. It still needs an optic and light.

It weighs in at 6 lb. 12.3 oz and it's lovely. I wanted to build the blackest rifle possible and besides the gas tube and castle nut, I think I've nearly reached my goal (it looks jet matte black in person, I think the red blanket cast some color onto it). It's not super light. It's not super expensive (entire build including prices I paid on parts that I had sitting around came out to ~$1380. Not including the parts I had sitting around, it cost me <$700 (upper, trigger guard, SL stock).

I want to put good 1-4x glass on it and probably another WML since they've been treating me so well. I can't wait to get it to the range this weekend to tweak her out, sight her in, and punch some paper!

Haha. A lot of photoshop. I tried cleaning it before taking pictures and I thought I did a decent job but my lens picks up everything. Thanks for the compliment. I'm liking the Fortis so far. Picked up 2 so far and haven't had any issues. Thrown it around and seems to be holding up.

Yeah its definitely loud in short barrels. It's also renders the rifle useless in low light from the amount of flash that it produces.

nice carbine, samuse! what kind of upper? looks like a BCM lower? Either way, really like the RIS II FSP w/ 14.5 barrel + extended A2 FH. I have always been a sucker for anything resembling a bock II gun. Is that a KAC vertical grip or a mil surplus grip?

It's an AFAB mini. In my opinion it performs very similar to a Griffin flash comp, and a little better than a BattleComp. They have a new one out called an EFAB that supposed to tame flash better.

The magazines are Lancer AWM's. These are my favorite mags I've used to far. They are very reliable. I'm a huge fan of the steel feed lips that they have.

I love the MI Panels. They look and feel great. Really low profile as well with plenty of grip. From the moment i held one the KMR has instantly become my favorite rail. I never understood how lightweight it was till i actually was till i got my hands on it.

I'm pretty sure that's a stock gen3 Noveske with an optic.
The only upgrade is probably the recoil pad.

But I do love stock Noveskes! And great pictures.
